MEET COCOA CLARK!

On Thursday, the kids last day of school, they had just come home and we were still outside talking when this little kitten came walking down the sidewalk, walked right into our garage, through the door into our home. We brought her into the backyard to let the kids play with her for a little while. I went inside and the next thing I knew they had made a little house for her from a box and had named her 'Cocoa'. Addie thinks she is her baby and wraps her up in her silky blanket and carries her all around. She has already given her a ride in the stroller. Ava is absoblutely beside herself, it is very cute to watch her squeel with delight watching her. Well, needless to say, we still have her and the rest is history (unless she pees in the house and then she is history!!!)

Looks like fun! I'm glad the cat's at your house instead of mine! :) The kids look like they love it.

You're a nicer mom than I am, that cat wouldn't have made it to the backyard let alone in the house. Good luck with that. Again, I love Addie's flower in her hair.

At first it looked to me like Addie was holding OUR lost cat, only ours isn't a kitten. We kicked ours out because it wasn't exclusively using the litter box. And, even though he was "declawed," he still managed to scratch up our leather chair. We are still feeding it, but we haven't seen it lately. I'm actually okay with that. Good luck with this cat!

You are a brave woman. I would have kicked it to the curb long ago. But I do have to admit Addie looks adorable holding her new found love!

You are a fun mom. I'm not and that is why my children will never experience the joy of pets.

LOVE Addie's flower!

I have aquired a few kittens in my life that same way. I am a sucker for a kitty in need of a home. I think Cocoa is adorable and your kids will love her!

We (I mean Susan) took in many a stray kitten over the years. Once they get into a childs heart you can never get rid of it. It was fun seeing you and the kids last Saturday and I feel very lucky to have held Cocoa. Addie is so cute with her and really wants to make sure everyone else loves her kitty too.
