MESA FALLS 2006

Best Buddies

I was looking through some pictures and remembered this day we took the kids to Mesa Falls. It was a beautiful day and it was so nice just to get out! I love going up into the mountain area, it reminds me of home in Alaska.

AROUND THE HOUSE

Ava trying out her chair
Addie trying to iron Ava's pants
Dawson, Christian, & Isaac playing against each other on their DS's. They all link up their games and play together, it is nice for the fact that they sit still and I don't hear a peep out of them but this is all they want to do. So much for the days of snowball fights and reading a good book. The other day I had to make the boys but their DS's away and play with their toys. I'm such a mean mom!

I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS A LONG TIME AGO!

Ava's Christmas present finally got here. I broke down and bought her a high chair. I have not ever had one before since I thought this was an area in which I thought I could pinch pennies. I have seen the light and now I know why people use them! I could rant and rave about how great it is but since everyone else in their right mind has already tried them, i'm sure there is no need to.

HEY LADIES!

The other day Andy had to shave his beard but he doesn't ever just let it all go at once. He will usually come out of the bathroom with some sick chester moustache. This time however, he decided to be a little daring and wanted to keep his stache for a while. I was devistated since we were supposed to go out on a date that night. I just smiled and went to pick up the babysitter, and to my suprise (and relief) he shaved it off before I got home. He is such an amazing husband but the stache doesn't really do it for me.

AVA'S HATS

Addie is truly enjoying having her baby sister around. She has her baby dolls and then their is Ava who actually moves, laughs, and cries. I came in her bedroom the other morning and she had taken all of Ava's hats and dressed her up. She did the same thing this morning with her headbands but Ava wasn't smiling about it this time.
