I took all the kids to the 'Celebrate Youth' carnival they have at Porter park each year as a last celebration the night before school starts. They all seem to have had a lot of fun.

I went to take a picture of the girls to show Rachel and right when I clicked it Spike jumped in the picture. But I couldn't resist his cute smile, so I guess he can made the cut.
Here are Christian and Isaac on their first day of the 2007-08 school year. I found this picture of them sitting on their bunk beds 5 years ago. Its crazy to see how fast they grow up. I remember when Christian first started to say 'I love you', I remember telling Andy that I wish I could bottle it up and so I could hear it again and again when he is all grown up. I just hope to truly cherish each day with these kids, the time is going by too fast! I sure love each one of them, what a wonderful gift!!!

SCHOOL IS IN SESSION!
As some of you know, we don't have internet at our house so it can be an ordeal to keep up on this blog. Now that I have had the official tutorial on how to work this I was so motivated to come up to Jeff and Mary's to tell about my boys first day of school but I forgot to bring my camera up with me so I will have to put those on later.
Last night Andy gave both the boys a fathers blessing to get them prepared for the upcoming school year. Isaac had a grin on his face the entire blessing. Isaac was so anxious to start kindergarten. When Andy woke him up this morning he shouted, "Yes, my first day of school!" and jumped out of bed. Needless to say he loved it, he was also so excited to get to ride the sschool bus home. He said he was nervous that the bus driver would't know where his house was. We celebrated by going to McDonalds for lunch and then he picked out a cany necklace at the grocery store. Andy took both the boys out to golf tonight.
Christian started the 3rd grade today. I can't believe he is that old. He is growing up so fast. He was a little nervous to start school today since he heard that his teacher was very strict. He came home and said that she was very nice so I think he was relieved. He just earned his wolf badge in cub scouts at the last pack night along with about 100 other badges and pins, he loves scouts!
well, its just me and the girls at home now, so far so good. we'll see how the rest of the year goes!

Summer Pictures!
It has been a busy summer and I am not going to take the time to update everything so I am going to start with the past few weeks. The kids have finally finished swim lessons and their summer sports so our lives have begun to slow down. With the construction of the new homes and everything that has gone on this past year we have burned ourselves out and have decided that we will not take on any new projects this summer or fall. (Knock on wood) We have tried to spend more time together. The boys have found a new favorite activity.....Chuckars Baseball. If you are not familiar with the Chuchars, they are the Idaho Falls minor league baseball team. I am turning the blog over to Lynne so hopfully we will see more pictues and updates. We are excited for the fall and cool weather. We should be able to post some great pictures as fall always is beautifull and Lynne enjoys doing pictures outdoors during this time. Catch ya soon.
